Our Boat – The Hargreaves
Large low level panoramic windows, comfortable seating, on-board kitchen and toilet facilities make the Hargreaves a truly pleasant way to cruise along the local waterways for the day.
Preparing your own food and drinks on the journey is simple in the compact but well equipped kitchen. Facilities for you to use include a gas hob, oven and grill as well as small microwave and fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
On sunnier days there is an outside area with screens where people can take chairs to sit and enjoy the views.
Should the temperature dip, there is central heating on board to warm things up - making the Hargreaves a perfect day out at any time of the year.
The Hargreaves has excellent access for people who need to use a wheelchair or for those who have limited mobility. The narrowboat has external ramps on either side and a further ramp to the interior, making it quite suitable for standard size wheelchair users.
The onboard toilet facility is suitable for most disabled people to use.
All trips start from (and return to) our loading spot in Nuneaton.
Access to our reserved disabled mooring is down the public ramp, found through a gap in the bridge wall, on the towpath side of the Coventry Canal, opposite the Boot Wharf, Bull Ring, Coton, Nuneaton, Warwickshire CV10 7BE
